New release September 2010 Wraith P90 with AL III Poles A P90 with Alnico III rod magnets. Combines the warmth opf a P90 with the clarity of a strat pickup. New Releases April 2010 Firedrake mini humbucker An extra hot mini humbucker. Dual blade construction like the Mountain Queen and Qilin but hot wound and with a ceramic magnet. Lots of output, warm and rich. Not as thick toned as the Mountain Queen. Zephyr Alnico III Stratocaster pickups Using Alnico III produces a single coil with a much softer attack, and more sensitive to playing dynamics. A very well balanced set for expressive players. Alseid Alnico III Telecaster pickups What works for strats works for teles too. Thicker toned and meatier than the Zephyrs. Warm, expressive and versatile. Barghest Humbucker An unbalanced coil humbucker with an Alnico II magnet, the Barghest completes the lineup of PAF style humbuckers. Star Series Humbuckers The Star series each reproduce exactly the sounds of two existing Gemini standard humbuckers. The Wolf Star combines the Barghest and the Nightwolf. The Dragon Star combines the Phoenix and the Pegasus. For those who want heavier sounds, the Dark Star conmbines the Gryphon and the Basilisk. Fire Series Humbuckers The Fire series each offer a bright sound and a heavy sound. Both sounds being fully humbucking. Earth Fire Alnico II magnet, fat and bright or fat and hot. Storm Fire Alnico V magnet, crystal clear or warm and full Mountain Fire Alnico V magnet, thicker toned, copes well with lots of effects or lots of distortion. New Releases 2009 Qilin & Mountain Queen mini humbuckers Following hot on the heels of the Manticore and Satyr, the Qilin and Mountain Queen are much more like full sized humbuckers, using a single bar magnet with blade poles instead of blade magnets. The Qilin provides vintage deluxe style sounds at the neck with a hot vintage bridge partner. The Mountain Queen combines a sweet, soulful neck pickup with a thick toned rock machine at the bridge. Ghost Rider Humbuckers These have been hanging around as an idea for a couple of years until I got hold of a suitable guitar to put them in. They are a full sized humbucker but this is only around an extra 1.5mm between the polepieces compared to the F'trons. They have a 6mm AL V magnet system, compared to the 6.35mm and they use the same AWG 43 wire. So all that rockabilly twang comes through just like it should. On the full setting, they are similar to Vampire Lords. They are slightly hotter wound and they are louder due to the bigger magnet system. |
