The mark II Cherubim improves on the original Cherubim with tapped tones that are a little fatter and bolder while the full tones are clearer and brighter.
A P-90, with a 50's / 60's style jangly sound and a full P90 sound that rocks hard.
The Cherubim II has compound wire coils. A first layer of heavier wire is used for the jangly sound. This is then overwound with a finer wire to produce the full P-90 sound.
If you want to cover the spectrum from 60's pop through country, folk, blues to heavy rock, Cherubim II P90's provide the range of tones you need.
Cherubim II bridge and neck units are wound to be hum-cancelling in the middle position when combined with each other or the tapped single coil sounds of Gemini humbuckers.
Available in traditional P90, Jazzmaster and Humbucker formats
The standard sound samples are of Mark II Cherubims.
